Care Partner Training: Week #1
- On May 17, 2017
Our Mission: Supporting and guiding people with Christ-centered care as they navigate through change in every season of life.
Week #1: Training
Topic: The Person of the Caregiver: Trainees will learn how to commit themselves to a process of personal growth as caregivers.
Ask Questions!
Your Care Ministry Pastors/Coordinators are available to answer questions during breaks. They are here to serve you, and help you succeed as a Care Partner.
Don’t Forget!
We honor each other when we arrive and start on time. Training starts at 6:30pm.
Prayer Partner
Find a fellow trainee you do not know of the same gender as you. This person will be your Prayer Partner for the remainder of the training. Not only does it help each trainee build a relationship with a classmate, but it also teaches us about the process of relationship building with your Care Receivers. Trainees will carry these insights into their caring relationships.
Spreading the Word
Whenever you meet someone in the church that you believe would benefit from having a Care Partner, share the ministry with them!
If you need to contact our Care Center for the individual, with their permission, text our Care Center at 904-254-8508. Program this number into your phone for your convenience. This number is not to be given out to the congregation. Check out our lanyard Care Guide for further texting instructions.
