Care Partner Training: Week #5
- On May 17, 2017
Our Mission: Supporting and guiding people with Christ-centered care as they navigate through change in every season of life.
Week #5 Assertiveness Training
Assertiveness – Relating Gently and Firmly in Caregiving: Trainees will learn how to be more assertive in their everyday relationships and in their caregiving.
Never Stop Learning
As Care Partners we want to never stop learning! There is always something to be learned when caring for others. If we continually have a teachable spirit, there is something to be learned through each and every Care Receiver we will ever have.
There will be continuing education as Care Partners as well. We will gather once a month in our Supervision meetings to grow and learn to give Christ-centered care to our Care Receivers and to receive on-going training in regards to care.
Your Feedback is Welcome
You are on your way to being the best Care Partner you can be. Lots more reading and group time activities to come but hang in there….YOU GOT THIS!!!
We would love to hear your thoughts on the class, please email us your feedback anytime at care@celebration.org.
